Shakira Ignites Excitement in Buenos Aires | Ours Abroad News

Buenos Aires is set for Shakira's "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour" this weekend, featuring cutting-edge visuals and fan participation. Don't miss it!

Shakira is preparing to deliver an unprecedented show in Buenos Aires with her "Women Don't Cry World Tour" this weekend at the Campo Argentino de Polo. The city will become the epicenter of Latin music for two unforgettable nights.

The Colombian star will be accompanied by a team of 150 people, 10 dancers, and 2 physiotherapists to provide a unique performance. Nine visual interludes, using CGI technology, will recreate a digital version of the singer on giant screens measuring 49 meters wide by 9 meters high with a resolution of 6.6 million pixels.

The setup required five months of work and the involvement of around 40 specialists in animation and visual effects. Additionally, 100 fans will accompany Shakira on her way to the stage, while Argentine singer Natalie Pérez will warm up both nights with her varied musical repertoire.

The show will include 32 songs that cover different stages of Shakira's career, performing hits like "Hips Don't Lie," "La Tortura," and "La Bicicleta." The artist will wear multiple costume changes designed by renowned brands and exclusive bracelets from Tiffany & Co. featuring diamonds and personalized engravings.

Despite her successful career with 95 million records sold and numerous awards, her most recent hit "Women Don't Cry" became the most streamed album of 2024 in the first 24 hours of its release and achieved 7x Platinum certification.

After rescheduling some concerts due to technical issues, Shakira arrived in Buenos Aires after canceling her performances in Chile. Following Argentina, the singer will continue her tour in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, the United States, and Peru, where she will hold two shows in November. Subsequently, her highly anticipated show in Medellín was postponed due to issues with the stage's roof.
